Secure onsite parking facility at Gatwick airport. Ideal for longer stays. They park your car for you and offer a bus to/from the terminal that takes around 10 minutes.

Entry Procedure On arrival, pull up to the barrier and wait up to 10 seconds for the vehicle registration to be scanned and photos to be taken of the vehicle condition. Park the vehicle in one of the arrival lanes and walk to the Summer Special reception building. Please fill in a self-service key label and walk up to the desk where an attendant will ask for the car parking voucher and the vehicle keys which will be exchanged for a receipt. Wait either inside the reception building or just outside at the designated bus stop for the courtesy coach which will take you directly to the North Terminal. Transfer from car park to terminal Free courtesy bus with luggage racks Transfer time to the terminal 10-minute bus transfer, buses every 10-12 minutes Transfer from terminal to car park On landing follow signs for Exit/Car Parks. Exit the terminal on the ground floor, turn left and go to the Summer Special bus stop (no. 2) at the far end of the North Terminal forecourt, where a bus will return you to the parking area. Please check the bus is going to the North Terminal Summer Special Car Park when boarding the bus. Exit Procedure On arrival at the car park, please proceed to Summer Special reception with the receipt received at the time of vehicle drop off. The vehicle keys will then be returned to you with your vehicle parked in a numbered bay close to reception. Pull up to the exit barrier, the camera will recognise the registration number and the barrier will rise. Security measures The car storage areas are manned 24-hours a day and frequently patrolled by trained staff. The sites have CCTV, security lighting and a perimeter security fence. Park Mark 'Safer Parking' approved. Facilities for Blue Badge holders This parking option is suitable for Blue Badge holders with the reception building and courtesy buses all fully compliant with the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA). More about Blue Badge Parking at Gatwick Airport. Handing in my keys Your vehicle keys need to be handed to fully-trained and insured Summer Special staff in the reception building. Minimum stay for pre-booking The minimum stay requirement is 5 days. All bookings must be made at least 1 calendar day prior to arrival. Height restrictions There are no height restrictions for this car park. Car and trailer restrictions Vehicles with more than 8 seats or trailers are not permitted. Summer Special Open Dates Summer Special is open all year.

Unfortunately poor admin/communication let you down, the transfer from terminal to car park instructions on the confirmation email received at booking differed from the ticket given when the keys were handed in. This was not initially noticed and I went by your email. What made matters worse was we asked the bus driver on what turned out to be the correct bus he said he’d never heard of the “Summer Special” and sent us away. Furthermore you don’t have a contact telephone number showing anywhere, which would have quickly resolved our confusion. I am sure this has caused annoyance for not just ourselves and updating your on-line confirmation should be an easy thing to do.
