Parking Zeus – Scavi di Pompei

I got totally ripped off! Payed €22 in advance in order to get a spot and a smooth parking experience. Once we got there, there was no where or no one to show my booking or ticket. We had to withdraw a ticket and pay on site, even though we already had payed. And - the fare was even half the price of what I’d payed online. I want my money back, but there’s nowhere to complain.

Not sure if I would have gotten a parking lot if there where more cars, not very organized procedure.

The parking areas location was perfect very easy walk to the main entrance of Pompeii. The park attendant was helpful and gave us clear instructions where to park and how to check out. There are many coffee shops and cafes close by. Make sure you book extra time when purchasing your parking pass over estimate the time you think you will need there are additional charges if you go over what you booked. Over all an excellent location, very safe place to park and walk from.

We paid on line which was great but when you arrive you still have to get a ticket to park. When leaving you have to get your ticket validated. The car park is very close to the site which is great
